he Happy Quilter was established in November 2003 by Domenic and Lorraine Caravetta. We were the first quilt shop in Rockland County, New York. With a deep love for quilting and more than 15 years of retail experience this was a perfect fit. When we opened our doors we had approximately 500 bolts of fabric and since then we have grown to over 2,000! We are firm believers in the quality of Bernina sewing machines and were very happy to become an authorized Bernina dealer in August 2004.

e truly believe in the therapeutic value of quilting and love the wonderful sense of community it can provide. Our goal is to promote this wonderful art form and hopefully, give something back to the fantastic community we are a part of.

hat a wonderful trip it has been! Not only has the shop grown and changed by leaps and bounds but so have we. We thought when we started that we would be giving to the community but we find that we are the happy, grateful recipients of so much instead.
